One of the only free-admission zoos in the country, Lincoln Park Zoo spans 35 acres. In addition to housing more than 13 million published works, the library is also home to the stunning Winter Garden atrium. This massive library fills up an entire Chicago city block. One of the largest public libraries in the world, the Harold Washington Library Center is a sight to behold. The neighborhood was the setting of MTV's "The Real World: Chicago." A Hollywood favorite, Wicker Park is also featured prominently in the NCB Chicago franchise of shows. Home to many of Chicago's priciest residential properties, Wicker Park is a great neighborhood for strolling. In addition to being a favorite spot for everyone from marathon runners to eco-friendly commuters, Lakefront Trail also provides easy access to the lake's recreational activities. It runs from Ardmore Avenue on the north to 71st Street on the south. This majestic park also offers tennis courts, picnic groves, walking paths, and a 30-foot suspension bridge to delight guests all year long. During the summer months, a sprawling play area inspired by classic childhood books delights visitors. Its position near the Lake Michigan shoreline makes the park a dreamy spot.
